Key Issues Being Protested

  1. Authoritarianism and Executive Overreach Protesters argue that President Trump is consolidating power in ways that undermine democratic institutions. They point to the militarized parade as a symbol of this trend. The event involves over 6,000 troops and military equipment, with an estimated cost of $25–$45 million, raising concerns about the politicization of the military .

  2. Immigration Policies and ICE Raids Recent crackdowns on immigration, including ICE raids and deportations, have sparked outrage. In cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles, protesters gathered outside ICE facilities to express their dissent .

  3. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) The creation of the DOGE, led by Elon Musk, is viewed by many as an attempt to centralize power and reduce government accountability. Protesters are calling for investigations into Musk's role and the potential impacts of the department .

  4. Civil Liberties and Democratic Values The movement emphasizes the protection of civil rights and democratic principles. Participants are concerned about the erosion of freedoms and the concentration of power in the executive branch .

2018: MEMORY, During Trump's first admin, and Brownback's governoship, this really got a lot of Dems fired up in Harvey. We are a rural county that voted in favor of Laura Kelly and Tim Hodge. This marked one of the first occasions where we were able to get about 100 people to be present at some meetings!

Empower Voters

How We Do It :

We walk and knock on more doors to meet people. We use billboards, texting, facebook posts to let voters know of the issues and candidates running. We want to make our Government work for everyone, not just a few.

We support things like removing taxes from Groceries to Expanding Medicaid so our loved ones can have the care they need.
